Specialty pumpkins: Speckled Hound
Speckled Hounds are small, pink and grey pumpkins. They are oblate and blocky in shape, with smooth skin and shallow ribs. These pumpkins have variations of grey and pink splotchy marks and make a great ornamental. The thick, yellow-orange flesh is edible and is tasty with a dry texture similar to a buttercup squash.
