Refreshing, clean aroma.  Freshly harvested Lavender Flowers are bright purple-blue and recognizably aromatic. They are grown as a condiment and for their medicinal use. Lavender lends a floral and slightly sweet flavor to most dishes.  Their fragrant flowers can be candied and are sometimes used as cake decorations, floral arrangements, or made into lavender sugar. The buds can be added to herbal teas, baked into sweets and desserts, or used in aromatherapy, where their scent is said to calm the nerves and release tension.
