Jimmy Nardello Peppers are long, thin, and a bright red color when mature. Often between 6 and 9 inches long, these peppers are curved and are sometimes oddly twisted or bent, giving them a look similar to Cayenne Peppers. Don’t be fooled by their appearance though, as these peppers are known for their sweet and fruity flavor! They have a crisp texture that remains even after cooking. When dried, the flavor becomes rich and somewhat smoky.  Also known as Sweet Italian Frying Peppers, these peppers are mostly used for frying but are also delicious raw.
