BALSAM FARMS’ CSA MEMBERSHIPS

When you join Balsam Farms’ Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, be it the Main Season or Winter CSA, the income from your membership goes directly toward covering production costs for the growing year ahead.  Purchasing a CSA share is an investment in our farm that helps us secure what we need for the coming season—from seeds to mulch, to updated implements for our tractors.  In exchange for your upfront financial support, you receive a lovingly-curated, weekly share of Balsam Farms' freshest produce which, aside from our summer corn, is grown in accordance with the same OMRI guidelines followed by certified organic farms.

Although share values vary from week to week, the items included in your share over the course of the CSA season—Main Season and Winter Season alike—have a retail value far greater than what you've paid for your membership.  But, the benefits extend even further...Every week, along with our freshest produce, our CSA members receive a community newsletter, replete with recipes and information related to the week's share contents!  But, above all, investment in a Balsam Farms CSA Membership becomes a perpetual source of satisfaction; The satisfaction of knowing that your investment in our farm went straight into the earliest production moments of our growing year.
